Article Summary:

He turned into a quality two-way wing last season, stepping up his consistency on both ends of the floor, but particularly on the defensive end.

Huerter enters his fourth season in the NBA with a new deal, as he looks to help solidify the Hawks’ second-unit alongside Delon Wright, Lou Williams, Danilo Gallinari, Cam Reddish, Jalen Johnson, Gorgui Dieng and others.

Huerter averages 11.9 points, 3.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game for his career, and shoots 37.6% from three-point range through his first three seasons.

The Hawks will look to build off one of the best seasons in franchise history Thursday night when they kickoff the season vs. the Dallas Mavericks from State Farm Arena.
